Create focused Channels. Even with Connect easy-to-use search functionality, it may still be hard to find relevant information within a general purpose Channel with many members and long history. Create separate Channels per project, team, subject.
Use private Channels. Manage participants in private Channels where you can grant access by adding members to the channel. Hold important discussions between a limited number of participants.
Use Webhooks to integrate business applications. Be in touch with your project, issue management systems, and other business applications. Don’t miss any major alerts from monitoring systems. Configure Incoming Webhooks for messages and receive notifications into Channels in real-time.
Use mobile version of Connect to be “always on”. Installing Connect apps on your mobile phone or a tablet can help you to be always on.
Use Connect for calls from mobile phone. Use your mobile phone for making calls to any phone numbers using Connect. This allows you to minimize telephony charges, by replacing expensive calls from your mobile phone by the inexpensive calls from your office phone system.
Use CRM integration. CRM integration can help your team to get information about a customer or a lead before you pick up the phone. Use Contact Sources to integrate with your CRM.
Share files. Connect can help you with sharing files between your team members. Once the file sent it is stored on the server and can be easily downloaded. Use Search to find file in direct conversations or Channels.
