Factory Reset: Polycom SoundPoint Series
How to configure your Polycom SoundPoint Series IP Phone for use on the TELAIR network
Section titled “How to configure your Polycom SoundPoint Series IP Phone for use on the TELAIR network”Skip to step 3 if your phone has not been provisioned before.
Section titled “Skip to step 3 if your phone has not been provisioned before.”Step 1:
- Select Menu
- Advanced
- enter password: 456
- Admin Settings
- Reset to Defaults
- Reset Device Settings
Step 2: Do the following once the above is complete:
- Select Menu
- Advanced
- enter password: 456
- Admin Settings
- Reset to Defaults
- Reset Local Configuration
Step 3: Enter in provisioning rule:
- Select Menu
- Advanced
- enter password: 456
- Admin Settings
- Network Configuration
- Server Menu.
***Please make sure the following the parameters are set:****
Server Type: HTTP
Server Address: <provided separately for privacy> - Save Settings and Reboot phone.
Your phone is now registered and will come online.
